യു.എ.ഇ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്‌ത 770 കോടി നഷ്ടമാകുമോയെന്ന് ആകുലപ്പെടാതെ എങ്ങിനെ ദുരന്തബാധിതരെ സഹായിക്കാൻ പറ്റുമെന്നാലോചിച്ച് ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടായി മലയാളികൾ സർക്കാരിനൊപ്പം നിൽക്കേണ്ട സമയമാണിത്. വിവാദങ്ങൾക്കു പിറകേ പോയി വിലയേറിയ സമയം നാം പാഴാക്കരുത്‌. രാഷ്ട്രീയ മുതലെടുപ്പ് ലക്‌ഷ്യം വെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അനാവശ്യ ആരോപണങ്ങൾ ഈ സമയത്ത് ഉന്നയിക്കുന്നത് കഷ്ടനഷ്ടങ്ങളുടെ ആഘാതം ഉൾക്കൊണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് ഉയിർത്തെഴുനേൽക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജനതയുടെയും സന്നദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെയും ആൽമവീര്യം കുറക്കുവാനേ ഉപകരിക്കൂ. പാളിച്ചകൾ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടാവും. പക്ഷെ, കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറെ സംവത്സരങ്ങളായി നാം പിന്തുടരുന്ന ചില രീതികൾ പിന്തുടർന്നു എന്നതു മാത്രമാണ് പാളിച്ചയെന്നും നാം മനസ്സിലാക്കണം. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ സർക്കാർ അധികാരം ഏറ്റെടുത്തയുടനെതന്നെ അണക്കെട്ടുകളിൽ ജലം സംഭരിക്കുന്നതിനും അണക്കെട്ടുകൾ തുറന്നുവിടുന്നതിനും  നേരത്തെ അവലംബിച്ച രീതികൾ മാറ്റിവെച്ചിട്ടു പുതിയ നിയമങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരണമായിരുന്നുവെന്നു പറയുന്നത് തികച്ചും ബാലിശമാണ്. മാറ്റങ്ങൾ അനിവാര്യമാണ്. അനുഭവത്തിൽ നിന്നും പാഠങ്ങൾ പഠിച്ചു കൂടുതൽ പ്രകൃതിസൗഹൃദമായ നയങ്ങൾ ഈ മേഖലയിൽ ആവിഷ്കരിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന യാഥാർഥ്യമാ...

വിദേശ സഹായം അനിവാര്യമോ? കേരളത്തിലെ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്ക ദുരിതാശ്വാസത്തിനു വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്ത ധനസഹായം കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ നിരാകരിച്ചത് വലിയ വിവാദമായിരിക്കയാണ്. കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയത് ഇന്ത്യാമഹാരാജ്യം 2004 ഡിസംബർ മുതൽ ഇന്നലെ വരെ പിന്തുടർന്നിരുന്ന നയമാണ്. 2004 ഡിസംബർ 26-നു സുനാമി ദുരന്ത സമയത്ത് ഇപ്പോൾ ലഭിച്ചപോലെയുള്ള സഹായ വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങൾ പല വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഇന്ത്യ അവയെല്ലാം വിനയപൂർവ്വം നിരസിച്ചുവെന്നു മാത്രമല്ല സുനാമിമൂലം കഷ്ടത അനുഭവിച്ച മറ്റു പല രാജ്യങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 2004 നു മുൻപ് ഇങ്ങിനെയുള്ള സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഇന്ത്യ വിദേശസഹായം സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു. 1991 ലെ ഉത്തർകാശി ഭൂകമ്പം, 1993 ലെ ലത്തൂർ ഭൂകമ്പം, 2001 ലെ ഗുജറാത്ത് ഭൂകമ്പം, 2004 ജൂലൈയിലെ ബീഹാർ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം മുതലായ ഭീകര ദുരന്തങ്ങളിൽ ഇന്ത്യ വിദേശ സഹായം സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു.  എന്നാൽ, 2005 ലെ കാശ്മീർ ഭൂകമ്പം, 2013 ലെ ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ് ഭൂകമ്പം 2014 ലെ കാശ്മീർ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം മുതലായ അതിഭീകര ദുരന്തം നേരിടുന്ന സമയത്ത് ഇന്ത്യ 2004 ഡിസംബറിൽ മൻമോഹൻസിംഗ് സർക്കാർ എടുത്ത തീരുമാനം പിന്തുടർന്നു എല്ലാ വിദേശസഹാ...

Familiarise With Your Home Screen The screen you see on the smartphone is the Home screen. You can add more screens when you have more Apps and Widgets installed. You may swipe left and right to navigate from one screen to another. Touch/Press on the Apps Container to see the installed Apps. Installed apps will appear as below. You may see the Cellular data as Off because earlier we used WIFI while resetting the phone. Slide it to right to Switch on Cellular data. When the selector is slided to right, its color will turn to be Green, meaning that Cellular data is on. You should do this only after charging the Sim with a data pack. Now let us do the initial settings of the new smartphone. Evenif you have been using the smartphone for quite some time now, we are going to set it up as a new one unless you have configured your email and Whatsapp and other Apps in that already. Remember, this exercise is for those are not using their smartphones for anything other than receiving and making calls. Sim Card Since we are going to use a data connection from our smartphones, selection of service provider is very important. We need to understand which service provider has greater coverage in the area we are living. For example, in Adoor, more coverage is for Idea. But, when I travel to Bangalore, Airtel has more coverage. When I travel to Trivandrum, Jio gives a better coverage than both Idea and Airtel. Therefore, I have three SIM Cards- one from each service provider said above. But, you may not need to have that many Sim cards.
