The question of whether I believe the Bible is a book sent by God for the salvation of mankind has been one I have faced since childhood. I have always known that this question was often posed to test me, especially by religious authorities. Yet, without hesitation, I have always responded firmly. ബൈബിൾ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നും മനുഷ്യരക്ഷക്കുവേണ്ടി അയയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട പുസ്തകമാണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോയെന്ന ചോദ്യം ബാല്യകാലം മുതലേ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. കൂടുതലായും മത-പൗരോഹിത്യ ഉറവിടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിക്കുവാനായിട്ടാണ് ഈ ചോദ്യം ചോദിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഒട്ടും പതറാതെ ഞാൻ മറുപടി പറയാറുണ്ട്. ബൈബിളും മറ്റു പല പുസ്തകങ്ങളെയും പോലെ വിശുദ്ധമാണ്; അതിൽ നിന്നും ആൽമീയമായി മറ്റൊരു തലത്തിലേക്കു ഉയരുവാൻ ഉതകുന്ന പലതും മനുഷ്യന് പഠിക്കുവാനുണ്ട് എന്നുമായിരുന്നു എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ മറുപടി.
